I was born and raised in Northeast Ohio, and I’ve always looked for ways to give back to the community that raised me. In 2019, I was elected to the Revere School Board, where I fought to get students back in the classroom and won — making Revere one of the first districts in the state to reopen after the COVID-19 pandemic. I also pushed for greater transparency, and now every board meeting is recorded and posted online for the public to see.

My service expanded when I was appointed to the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center Board of Education, where I worked to prepare students for in-demand careers in fields like healthcare, construction, and manufacturing. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working at the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation alongside leaders like Senator Jon Husted and Lt. Governor Jim Tressel, where I focused on aligning Ohio’s education system with the needs of employers, helping Ohioans get off the sidelines and into the workforce, and making sure people have the skills they need to succeed in today’s economy.

These experiences — in local schools, workforce development, and state government — have shown me the challenges our community faces, but also the opportunities we can seize if we have the right leadership in Columbus.
